Valunorm work method
For the implementation of management systems according to ISO 9001, IRIS, ISO 17025, EN 9100, ISO 14001, etc. standards:
- Gap analysis and training :
Method:
The gap analysis and training on standards are performed concomitantly with a view to identifying gaps in real time and prepare the personnel for the implementation phase.
- the service is segmented in sessions, each corresponding to a particular theme of the standard being implemented
- the requirements of the standards are presented through practical examples that are relevant to the client
- the client’s processes/procedures are compared in real time to the requirements of the standards
Objectives and output of the training / gap analysis:
- Process owners are trained on the requirements of the standards that are relevant to the process they manage
- the Gap analysis report including :
- List and description of the client’s gaps and assets for each chapter of the standard
- Identification of the Quality tools that need to be put in place to resolve gaps → Valunorm recommends the tools and methods that are not only necessary to meet the normative requirements but that also bring about an intrinsic added value to the company’s operations
- Macro-planning for the implementation of the standard
- Implementation of the standards through working group sessions :
Based on the results of the gap analysis, Valunorm organises collaborative sessions :
- Valunorm works in close collaboration with its clients to prepare documents in real time and following a process approach
- These working sessions aim at developing the collaborative competency of employees and at enhancing the mutual awareness of their functions
- This collaborative format allows a quicker implementation of the standards at clients’, while maintaining Valunorm consulting days at a minimum. This results in an optimised quality/price/leadtime ratio.
- Realisation of audits and preparation to certification audits
