To improve customer-suppliers interactions and reduce quality defects in the supply chain, the industrial sectors and the standardisation committees have established various standarc tools and methods, which form a universal technical and managerial language for a better structuring of inter-company collaboration. In the mast 15 years some essential quality management and technical standards have been published:
- IRIS for organisation management and EN 50126-50128-50129 for the management of RAMS/LCC
- Quality management in the automotive industry: ISO/TS 16949
- Quality management in aeronautics: EN_9100
The Valunorm approach consists in using these tools and standards and tools to better manage the supply chain
